A couple of laptops

For this years summer break from school I did a very small English camp for 6 weeks with some of the older kids here at the Wat. There were 6 kids that really wanted learn more English and we had a lot of fun. I asked them what did they want to learn? They said things you would talk about in daily life. Alrighty then lets keep it very casual. We even watched a movie, Hotel Transylvania in English with no subtitles. I paused the movie every 15 minutes to see what they were thinking and they were really getting it.

We also talked about items that they needed and wanted (check out the kids wish list) from themselves as well as the lil ones they look after. You see the older kids take care of the younger ones and they each have their own little group. These 6 kids are are also a ones that I hope to help get into University. Anyway 2 of the computer students asked for laptop computers. My dear friend Emily Carryer had told me she had one to donate and my very generous cousin Jeff Skversky gave me one while I was in the states and I was just waiting for the right time and the right students. Now 2 great kids, Belle and On that are studying Computers have their own laptops, AWESOME! I am so happy for them and they are so excited to have their first laptops……..Thanks so much Emily and Jeff, love you both.
